  • The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) has partnered with the Colorado Food Program to expand eligibility and resources to caretakers in Colorado.

    FFN Stands for Family, Friend, and Neighbor care. FFN providers are non-licensed child care providers that serve four or fewer children in a single setting. These providers make local childcare more accessible by offering trusted chil care for families, allowing parents/guardians peace of mind and more free time to invest in their careers or other daily tasks. It is estimated that more than half of Colorado families depend on child care providers by grandparents, aunts, relatives, friends, nannies, or neighbors, proving that FFN providers are an essential part of the early childhood workforce.

  • Colorado Food Cluster will NOT share your personal information. Your response will be shared as a single count towards the total number of responses. We are not collecting any names, emails, or contact information with your response.

    Our goal is to provide clarity around the number of caretakers in the state and plan to bring more resources to each of them.
