FAQ

WHAT IS THE COLORADO FOOD CLUSTER?

The Colorado Food Cluster is a network of organizations working together to support youth through nutritious meals and snacks, enrichment activities, and employment opportunities for their family members.

SIGNING UP

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

There are a few ways to join the Colorado Food Cluster:

  1. Partner school/community organizations will identify youth and families and pre-enroll them to participate in this initiative. The parent or guardian needs to complete the enrollment form to verify their contact and delivery information.

  2. Any guardian of a youth age 6-18 in the Denver Metro Area can complete our online enrollment form for meal deliveries. (New!)

WHO DO I CONTACT ABOUT SCHOOL AND ORGANIZATION PARTNERSHIPS?

To inquire about new school/organization partnerships, please email CFC@bondadosa.org

WHO RECEIVES THESE EMERGENCY MEALS?

Youth ages 6-18 in need of a box of meals can sign up through their school partnership with Colorado Food Cluster, or by enrolling online.

DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE ON FRL TO QUALIFY?

No, we don't require FRL status for meal deliveries. All youth age 6-18 qualify for this program.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER MEALS?

We are currently delivering meals in the Denver Metro Area, within a 20-mile radius of Capitol Hill. We do anticipate expanding to other part of the state - this will depend on funding and other resources.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A DELIVERY?

We are calling these boxes Enrich-Kits. Each meal box contains seven fully-prepared culturally relevant and nutritious meals, fourteen snacks, and seven cartons of milk.

WHEN WILL MY STUDENT'S MEALS ARRIVE?

Meals are delivered on a weekly basis. Your meal deliveries should begin within 1-2 weeks after you enroll. Please reach out to our resource line to find out more about your estimated delivery start day and time.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Unfortunately, we can't accommodate any allergies or customize meals at this time. We offer vegetarian boxes for students upon request.

WHO'S DOING THE DELIVERIES?

Bondadosa, CFC's delivery partner, plans and facilitates all deliveries. A delivery agent will bring your delivery to your student's meals each week. Due to the pandemic, our deliveries are as contactless as possible, and our delivery agents always wear a mask.

FUNDING AND COST

DO THESE DELIVERIES COST ANYTHING?

No! These deliveries come at no cost for youth and their families.

HOW ARE THESE  MEALS FUNDED?

This project is made possible through philanthropy, community partners, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) through Food and Nutrition Services within the USDA.
